Sony Online Entertainment

Project duration: 2009-2011

Work: LaunchPad project and Game server configuration management projects

Overview:

  • Worked as part of a joint internal and external development team on the conception, creation, deployment and ongoing maintenance of a consumer client application for discovering, purchasing and updating online games
  • Created an entirely new client application system based on the at-application-startup delivery of Flash user interface components and fully configurable, branded and localizable visual architecture
  • Constructed a back-end management system that allows client applications to be updated, refreshed and delivered dynamically without user intervention or re-download or re-install of any customer facing programs
    Prototyped several iterations of possible future client applications with integrated friend management, storefronts and user voice and text messaging







Corel Corporation

Project duration: 2011-2011

Work: Corel QuickSort photo application for Mac and PC

Overview:

  • Worked as part of a joint internal and external development team on the conception, creation, deployment of a consumer client application for sorting and sharing photos
  • Created an entirely new client cross-platform application using Adobe AIR using Flash user interface components and fully configurable, branded and localizable visual architecture
  • Communicates with Facebook using the Open Graph API and oAuth to share photos to walls or specific user lists without leaving the application
